Carl is our principal tutor and has been involved in teaching various courses including body massage, level 3 and 4 sports massage and the BTEC level 5 clinical sport and remedial massage diploma since 2006.
Carl qualified as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist in 2003. He runs a successful clinic focusing on remedial massage & rehabilitation. Carl has completed courses in Taping & Strapping for injury and rehabilitation, Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy and Dry Needling and is also a fully qualified teacher and assessor.

Rick is one of our lead tutors and has been delivering the BTEC diploma in sports and clinical massage since 2004. Rick Weatherall has been a qualified sports and remedial massage therapist since 1997.
In 2003 he graduated university with a BSc ost in osteopathy. Rick also has qualifications in Pilates and Dry Needling and runs a successful multidisciplinary practice in Reading.
Rick served many years coaching squash in Berkshire and has himself been 13 times Berkshire men’s champion as well as winning the British closed over 40s champion in 2010.
“All of my training has been achieved as a self funding mature student. From day one of my introductory massage course I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in that line of work”.
Elena is one of our lead tutors and has been a qualified sports and remedial massage therapist since 2004 and has been delivering the BTEC diploma since 2011.
As well as treating patients from her clinic, Elena has also provided treatment and support for athletes at sporting events in both the UK and Europe.
After qualifying as a sports massage therapist Elena went on to obtain her masters degree in Osteopathy and is now currently busy working towards gaining her teaching qualification.
Assistant tutor Sophie has been associated with the health and fitness industry since 2001, initially working as a gym and fitness class instructor until obtaining her level 3 sports massage qualification in 2004 and personal training qualification in 2007.
Since then Sophie has graduated from the BTEC Level 5 diploma in sport and clinical massage and is busy treating patients with various musculoskeletal issues from two separate clinics. Sophie also enjoys taking part in event work and has just returned from Paris where she was part of the support team for the London to Paris cycling event.
“My passion and fascination has always been soft tissue therapy and understanding how the biomechanics of the human body work. I left my job to complete the level 5 sport and remedial massage course and I haven’t looked back since”.
